Moon Obsesses Me (2023): The many obsessions of and about the moon form the text to this work. The piece can be performed as an unaccompanied canon for three or four voices, – OR – with piano (again, as a three or four voice canon). The optional piano is not an accompaniment. Its sound, including plucking and strumming inside directly on the strings, adds an independent layer to the music.
